Had a talk with Gravey( One of NG's classical geniuses ) the other night and we were discussing my music. He was telling me how forgettable it was and how I need to focus on different aspects of song structure and progression. It was very informative for me so I have decided to restart this Evolution process I stated in my first post for 2010.

From this point on I plan to put together diverse song structure with a unique harmonic style. Look forward to seeing a brand new song style from me.

I have been a member of the Newgrounds Audio Portal community for close to 4 years, with my first music post being Alien Man. I have also been the victim of "zero bombs" several times. Most say its from Haters.....I like to think its because I haven't given my audience anything worth listening too over and over. I have struggled with trying to find a unique sound that is all my own. I want to get away from the traditional 2000's sound and EVOLVE into something that is all my own. Here in 2010 I want to present to you...my listening audience a sound that is sooo unque, you can only relate it to the name Mike Blade. The reason I make music....Well it started one day back in late 2005 when I ran into my friend Brandin (Brothagadget) and he was telling me about how he makes music. So one day he put me on newgrounds and I ran into a track that till this day I still listen too. Cajete's " Spirit of the Warrior". Man when I heard that song I knew right then I wanted to be a beatmaker. I wanted to make music like that and just become a musical force in the Newgrounds Community. So I started making beats and dropped my first Newgrounds track back in Spring of 2006. When I look back on that now..im like...damn I have grown. So over the years I have struggled to make a type of music that was just different but still stood out. I tired the Hip Hop thing and well...not my thing. I actually despise the current mainstream nation of Hip Hop. She isn't what she used to be, but I do respect all the beatmakers who are able to produce alot of music that could definitely become a mainstream track. So I continued to struggle, My home boi Reven tried to help me find a sound...couldn't. I listened to so many different artists but still couldn't come up with a sound that is like...my own, but now I think I have found it. For those who know me and for those that don't I want to tell you this. The focus of my music is to provide a story style atmosphere of cool transitional melodies between classical/rock/trance. I wanna make a diverse percussion setup that will allow all my listeners to be able to groove to my musik without voices on it. I want my stuff to be able to be used in Flashes and Animes and so on....So when you my fellow newgrounds artists and fans listen to my musik...I want them to be able to see ALL of that....THAT is the focus of MikeBlade's music. Alright fellow producers,beatmakers, rapperz, flash artists. I am makin this post juz to give folkz a little more insight into who I am. First and for most let me say that me and MATTBLADE should not be confused as the SAME person. We are brothers, two unique styles of musik and two different "swaggers." Secondly I been makin musik for about...damn like 3-4 years? Yea since I been postin to Newgroundz. Im currently in school to be a Firefighter and makin musik is a hobby of mine that helps me relax and juz put my thoughts out there. I'm a real cool ass dude and would collab wit juz about anyone so juz let me know; but let me put out there the focus of my musik. My focuz is to make beats from scratch...no samples and such....building from the ground up. No dizz to the samplerz out there cuz they are mad tight at what they do I juz believe in makin beatz from scratch and such. My way of the Musik (Love naruto lmao). Also I wish to provide escape from reality, i use alot of trance like soundz and rhythmic progressions at a attempt to take you away from traditional music selection and bring you into a arena of imagery and imagination.

So that is a little bit into me. Collabs are watz up no matter what genre your in, lets make the NGAP bang wit the underground soundz of use strugglin artists. Be cool and hit me up!
